Terms and Conditions

General Booking Conditions

  1. All bookings must be made by persons over the age of 18 years.  No guests under the age of 18 are permitted to stay in the property overnight if they are not accompanied by an adult of 18 years or over.

  2. No stag or hen parties are allowed unless prior agreement has been obtained from Hayle Sands Holidays.

  3. A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required within 1 week of booking the property to secure the booking, with the balance due no later than 6 weeks (42 days) prior to your stay.  Failure to provide either amount will result in the booking lapsing.

  4. If the booking is within 6 weeks (42 days), 100% of the monies will be due immediately via bank deposit, bank transfer or Paypal transfer.  Failure to provide this will result in the booking lapsing.

  5. If you anticipate there will be any delay which may result in the balance not arriving in time, please contact Hayle Sands Holidays immediately.  If Hayle Sands Holidays is not contacted, it will be assumed that the booking is cancelled.

  6. All payments are to be made by bank deposit, bank transfer or Paypal.

  7. Payment of any cashback due (subject to number 3 in the 'Cashback' section below), will be sent to you within 2 weeks of your departure from the property.

  8. If the property is unavailable due to fire, flood, storm or other natural disaster, a full refund will be given.

  9. No refunds will be given for early departure.

  10. Keys to the property will be released from 3.00pm on the day of your arrival.  They are located in a key box next to the entrance to the property.  The code will be communicated to you before your arrival.  If there are any issues with this, please call Nigel Searles on 07970 552794.


General Terms and Conditions

  1. The property can be occupied by guests from 3.00pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 9.00am on the day of departure.

  2. No more than the maximum number of guests shall stay in the property.  If the maximum number of guests is exceeded, a fine of £200 per additional person per day will be levied and all legal costs incurred during recovery of the fine will be added to the amount owed.  

  3. The property has a strict no smoking policy.

  4. No pets are allowed in the property.

  5. The property, its fixtures and fittings, and furnishings must be kept in a clean and tidy condition.

  6. Any damage to the property, its fixtures and fittings, or furnishings must be reported to Hayle Sands Holidays within 24 hours.

  7. The property will be inspected at the end of the stay and if the property requires any more than normal cleaning, or any damage is found or loss noted, Hayle Sands Holidays will seek sufficient monies to rectify the problem.  Initially this will be retention of all or part of the cashback payment, however Hayle Sands Holidays reserves the right to claim any outstanding balance and all legal costs incurred during recovery of the outstanding sum will be added to the amount owed.

  8. The owner of the property or a representative of Hayle Sands Holidays reserves the right to enter the chalet, without prior warning, for maintenance purposes, or in any other exceptional circumstances.

  9. The owner of the property reserves the right to alter the chalet or contents from that described, without prior notice.

  10. Neither the owner of the property nor Hayle Sands Holidays shall be liable to any person for any personal injury, loss or damage of any kind to any property whatsoever.

  11. All bookings made are non-transferable.

 

CASHBACK

  1. Cashback of £100 per week is included in the tariff price and is not additional. 

  2. To qualify for the cashback offer, the property must be left in a clean and tidy condition with all fixtures and fittings intact at the end of your stay.

  3. Any damage occurring during your stay must be reported promptly to Hayle Sands Holidays and depending on the extent of any damage, may result in either a reduction, or forfeiture, of the cashback offer.  However, retention of monies is entirely at the discretion of the owner.


Additional Terms and Conditions for Osokoze

  1. Duvets and pillows are provided.  Bed linen must be used at all times and you must bring your own sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases, towels and dishcloths etc. 

  2. Electricity is via a £1 or £2 coin meter.

  3. No furniture or fixtures and fittings within the property are to be moved or taken outside.

  4. The furniture provided on the decking must remain on the decking.

  5. Barbecues are not allowed on the decking.

  6. All guests must abide by the rules and regulations of the Riviere Towans Management Company at all times, details of which are set out in the handbook provided in the property.
